To create a lithograph the image is drawn on the stone but with a mirror effect because then when it is imprinted on the paper the design comes out correct or in the right sense. The stone must be very well polished, the drawing must be done with a soapy pencil and therefore very greasy. To make subsequent copies, the stone only needs to be inked again, the stone is wet, made wet, a greasy ink is passed on the stone, in this way for a chemical effect the ink remains on the stone and is ready for the second press.
